Signature Auctions is the auction arm of American Legends,
a Westchester County, New York retailer of sports memorabilia. Since
1992, American Legends has been the place to shop for New Yorkers
looking for that perfect sports gift for clients, friends and loved
ones. The store has conducted almost one hundred signings with athletes
including Tom Seaver, Johnny Bench, Jim Palmer, Pete Rose, Duke
Snider, Yogi Berra, Walt Frazier, Joe Morris, Adam Graves and many
more.
In 1997, a prominent New York health charity contacted us for items
for a sports auction and a new business venture was born. Recognizing
that many charities needed assistance either implementing a silent
auction or securing quality sports memorabilia for their existing
auctions, Signature Auctions significantly expanded its’ services.
In 2003, Signature Auctions greatly diversified its’ auction
reach by expanding into art. Now the company maintains a vast array
of objects d’art including such popular artists as Marc Chagall,
Leroy Neiman, Sam Park, Norman Rockwell, Victor Shvaiko, David Dodsworth and
many more.
With our vast retail experience, we instinctively know what items
create a buzz at fundraising auctions. And because of our numerous
contacts within the sports memorabilia industry, we are able to
obtain items that are unavailable to many other providers. These
