How many items will Signature Auctions bring for the auction?
Typically, Signature Auctions will provide 150-175 items of Framed
Art and Objects d’Art to include a selection of Sports Memorabilia
for the auction.
What are the minimum bids of the items in the auction?
Signature Auctions brings items in a variety of price points to each
auction. Starting bids range from $50 to well over $1,000. A third of the minimum bids are below $125 with another third below $300. About 20% of the items will
start in the $300-$475 range with the remainder above $475. There is something for everyone in attendance.
Who sets the minimum bids?
Signature Auctions sets the minimum bids for the auction items. The minimums are generally 30% - 50% below what you would expect to pay for the same item in a gallery.
Does the auction consist solely of art?
The majority of the auction consists of custom-framed artwork with a smattering
of Sports Memorabilia.
Does our group have any input into what art is brought
to the auction?
Yes. The event tickets that we provide have an area for
your guests to check off their areas of art interest.
What types of artists’ works and items will be auctioned?
Signature Auctions will bring a fabulous selection of artwork including
silkscreens, lithographs, etchings and oil paintings. Among the
artists represented are Neiman, Chagall, Rockwell, Dodsworth,
Sam Park, Agam, Shvaiko, Dorit Levi, Peter Max, Tremler and many more.
